6-step carpet cleaning process

Inspection

The first thing that we’ll do upon arrival is walk through the areas to be cleaned. At this time, we’ll ask you some questions, as well as answer any of your own questions that you may have. This would be a great time to point out any special concerns that you may have about certain areas. If you happen to know exactly what has caused certain spots or stains, please let us know at this time so that we can properly address them. We do use a special UV light to detect pet stain issues. Once the inspection is completed, we will ensure that you know the final price before any work begins. We’ll never use high-pressure sales tactics or bait and switch pricing.

Vacuuming

We recommend that you vacuum your carpet before our arrival. However, if you’re unable to it’s not a problem because we always vacuum prior to wet cleaning! Regularly vacuuming helps to remove the dry abrasive soils that wear down your carpet. Vacuuming is our first step because we want to remove as much dry particulate soil as possible. This enables our safe cleaning solutions to better focus on breaking up the soils that have bonded to the carpet fibers.

Spotting

Next, we will spot treat any tough spots or stains using our powerful yet family and pet safe spotting agents. We have great success removing spots like pop/soda spills, grease, oil, paint, Koolaid, wine, and other common carpet dribbles. Next, we’ll mix up our fast-drying carpet cleaning solution uniquely for your carpet cleaning needs and apply it to the walkways and traffic areas of the carpet.

Note: If you’ve used any products that you’ve bought at the store to attempt to remove any spots or stains, please make your technician aware of that. It can change how we approach the spot or stain to ensure we do not damage the carpet!

agitation

We use a special counter-rotating brush(CRB) to agitate the carpet and work in our encapsulating prespray. This helps to break up the oily soils from deep within the carpet fibers and makes them easier to extract. The CRB is also great at removing pet hair from the carpet too.

extraction

Our carpet cleaning extraction method is with low moisture carpet cleaning equipment. We use a rotary machine and absorbent pads to lift the soil out of the carpet. As the pads become soiled from extracting soil, we flip them or use clean and fresh ones. This carpet cleaning method lets us see how much soil is being removed and allows the carpet to dry more quickly than other carpet cleaning methods.

groom & inspect

After extracting the soil from your carpet, we will groom the carpet fibers to bring back that soft feel you know and love. This helps to lift the carpet fibers upward so that it dries quickly too. We will walk through the areas we cleaned with you for a final inspection.

we offer in-home and in-plant oriental & area rug cleaning too!

Upholstery Cleaning

Upholstery and furniture can be often neglected because many home and business owners are not aware that they can be professionally cleaned. We highly recommend cleaning your furniture and upholstery every 12-18 months to help remove spots and spills, body oils, and other contaminants that may have made their way into the fabric. We can clean both synthetic and natural upholstery fabrics and can even protect your upholstery and furniture after we clean it. We can clean the following furniture types:

  • Sectionals
  • Couches
  • Loveseats
  • Recliners
  • Ottomans
  • Dining Room Chairs
  • Mattresses
  • Pillows

Tile & Grout Cleaning

Cleaning your tile and grout floor can be back-breaking work. Especially if you have a lot of tile and grout. Even after all of that back-breaking work, you still may not be satisfied with your results or how long they may last.

Our tile and grout cleaning service saves your back and your time. Our tile cleaning service doesn’t damage your tile and doesn’t leave behind a bunch of sticky residue that will make your tile become dirtier more quickly.

Sealing Your Tile & Grout

Depending on the tile type you have, we offer a variety of grout sealers and topical tile coatings. Protecting your grout lines greatly extends the life of your tile and grout flooring. They help stop spills and oils from penetrating the grout lines causing permanent staining.

Pet Odor Removal

There are a lot of pet odor removal products that you can purchase from the store. However, some of those products make the issue worse or can cause permanent staining that cleaning cannot correct. We use a variety of methods to deal with pet accidents and no two situations are exactly the same. There are a lot of factors to consider when dealing with pet issues. Some of those factors are: the type of animal, the sex of the animal, the animal’s diet, and any medications they may be taking.

Types Of Pet Odor Removal Processes

Topical Odor Removal: Pet odors aren’t always urine or feces, sometimes pet dander can cause an unpleasant smell. Topical deodorizers counteract the unpleasant smell at the molecular level and make it easier for our cleaning process to lift those out of the carpet.

Sub-Surface Extraction: For pet accidents that have traveled through the carpet and into the padding, we offer a sub-surface extraction process. We apply a deodorizer heavier and use a special tool that compresses both the carpet and the pad. During the process, we flush the carpet and pad with water to remove the odor-causing materials below. We speed-dry the carpet in those spots to ensure no damage to the carpet or pad.
